Summer fun!!

This summer has been so great so far! Hannah had a long trip with my grandparents, Casey gets to go to EFY, Tyler can run and jump, and soon I'll be going to Girls' Camp!!!

I'm also going to another week long camp thingy that's like EFY but for 12 and 13 year olds, and with only girls. I'm so excited for it! I'm going with one of my good friends, and I can't wait!!!

Wow, I haven't posted anything for a very long time!

I can't believe school is almost over already!!! It's almost summer for cryin' out loud (although it sure doesn't feel like it weather wise)!

In English, we are doing poetry and so I would like to share a poem...

Animals

Gosh, I think it would be fun,

to see a wild cheetah run.

or a monkey swing in a tree;

hanging there, watching me.

A big elephant just roaming around,

leaving footprints in the ground.

A silver dolphin swimming fast,

in a race, she'd never be last!

It's sad to see them in a cage,

(if I were them, I'd be full of rage).

Someday I want to set them free,

If they could talk, I'm sure they'd thank me!!!

Catch Up

Let me just catch you up really quick: Softball is over, the first quarter is almost over, I'm playing recreation volleyball, Halloween is next Sunday and I still don't know what to be, and last but definitely not least, tomorrow I get to wear my pajamas to school!:)

I've loved getting home at 3:00 instead of 5:30! It gives me time to do my homework then play with family and friends. I can't believe the first quarter is practically over! This school year has gone by so fast! I love playing volleyball, I would have tried out for the school team, but I wanted a break. My team is really fun, and that's all we care about-having fun!!! I can't believe Halloween is NEXT Sunday! I don't know what to be for Halloween so if you have any easy cute/fun ideas, let me know!!!! I'm going trick or treating on Saturday. If you think I'm too old for that kind of stuff, too bad because I'll be going when I'm 99 years old! This upcoming week is Red Ribbon Week at my school. Tomorrow we get to wear pajamas, Tuesday we wear school colors, and Wednesday we wear mismatched things, and crazy hair. It'll be funny to see people in pajamas, I'm hoping the teachers will too!!!

So Busy!!

I've been so busy recently. I've had softball every week day until 5:00, then I have to do my homework, eat dinner and get ready for the next day! What ever happened to being bored out of my mind?! I've been liking Jr. High so far, I like getting to move to different teachers and I also like having a locker. I can't believe how fast school has already gone by! It'll be summer again before we know it-ok, it'll be a while:)

School!!!

I'm so excited for Jr. High! I've got my schedule, stuff for my locker, new shoes, and some new clothes. I'm a little nervous if Jr. High is what it is in movies-with all the bullies picking on people and stuff like that. I don't think it's like that, but still:)

I'm really excited to meet new people and go to stomps and other activities. I'm especially excited to have a locker. I love making things organized and all cute and stuff:) 7 classes, riding a bus to school, lockers, P.E. every day-it's all new to me!

Girl's Camp

I had the opportunity to go to girl's camp this year. It was amazing! Our theme was "Sisters Around the World" and so each day someone would come to talk to us about a country in need of help. Then after we would make something for them. For Mexico we made hair flowers, for Africa we made Tye-dyed onesies, and for Haiti we made soap. It was a lot of fun to help them out.

My mom got to come because she is our ward's camp director. I was happy that she came. I met some really nice people and had an awesome time!

10, count em' 10 puppies!

3 weeks ago, Molly had 10 puppies! She is a pure bred Labrador. There are 3 blacks, and 7 yellow, some of the yellow ones are a little bit darker, and there are 3 boys and 7 girls! I'm so happy! Molly is such a good mom, but I'm sure she gets jealous of all the attention her puppies are getting! One morning one of the puppies started howling and then all the other ones started to howl! It was the cutest thing! It will be so hard to give them away, but it helps that at least 2 of our neighbors are getting one. TTYL!

"My name is Albertson"

Today Tyler made a cool art room with art supplies, tables, and Hannah, Nathan, Emma, Tyler and I are in it. Emma thought it was some sort of game so she said to Tyler "Teacher, my name in the games is Albertson". Tyler thought she meant some real name like Addison or something, so he didn't realize much, then when he called her Addison she said her name was Albertson. Then later today she said "Actually you can call me Lemon" where do they get this stuff?

Tennis

Today (Friday) my family and I went to a park to play some tennis. It was the first time I've ever set foot on a real tennis court-I think...anyways, it was so much fun. At the end me and my dad just tried to hit everyone else really hard with a tennis ball-yes, it sounds very harsh, but they were laughin' and throwing them back! I love tennis!!!!

Almost There!!!

Molly is so close to having puppies! Her stomach is getting bigger every day! If any of you peeps would like a puppy soon, just wait about 15 days until she has them, then the amount of time it takes for them to be old enough to leave their mom:)

Parade

I got to be in a parade for our city because i'm an officer. We got to squirt people with squrit guns, and also throw candy at them! (Be careful if you come to a parade i'm in because i've got pretty good aim!) The coolest part was we got to ride in a boat!! We sat in it and had music on. It was so much fun! The parades are fun, you guys should come to this next one coming up, it will be cool to see people I know. Don't worry, I won't get you TOO wet!

Happy Father's Day!

I know I didn't do this for Mother's Day, but it doesn't mean I don't love you mom. I have been blogging more recently now, and I wasn't around Mother's Day, sorry:)

Happy Father's day all you dads. Especially my dad, even though he probably won't see this, I just want to show my appreciation for him, he is a GREAT dad. I love him so much! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD!!!!!

I'm Lovin' It!

Aren't y'all enjoyin' this warm weather? I know I am!!! Summer has been so fun! I have been on some trips, played with friends and family, and Molly's stomach is getting bigger! Her due date is July 15. I really can't wait, it will be soooooo hard to give the puppies away, but at least i'll still have Molly!

What Time Is It?

Summer time! Today I graduated from 6th grade! I'm so excited for summer! I get to go on a ton of vacations and hang out with my friends! No more homework, no more waking up early, no more going to sleep early. At graduation I started crying because i've been there for 8 years! I'll miss my teachers sooooooooooo much!

Last Week!!

I can't believe the school year is almost over! I just have 3 more days then I'm out of elementary school! Tomorrow I get to go on an awesome field trip and today I had a Napoleon Dynamite party with my class, it was really fun! Tomorrow is Emma's 4th birthday, Happy Birthday Emma! She is so cute...usually...when she is not bossing people around:)!

Exciting News

I have some exciting news...first of all, I was elected 7th grade officer!! There is one other officer from my school. He is one of my very good friends, I'm so excited that I'm one with him.

Second, at my school we do this presidential fitness award thingy which is where you have to do a bunch of stuff like running a mile in a certain amount of time, doing some pull-ups (the amount depends on if you are a boy or girl and how old you are), doing a shuttle run, doing 50 sit-ups in one minute, and reaching 7 inches past my toes!!! It was sooooo hard to do the pull-ups. I'm a weakling in my arms, but I did it!!!

A Play Gone Well...

On Monday, I performed Shakespeare for the school. It went okay, some mess ups, but hey, it was our first performance. Then yesterday we performed for the school. It was GREAT! Hardly any mess ups! Just one person forgot some lines, but other than that, we totally rocked it!

Today I have my Shakespeare feast. I'm so excited! We get a ton of great food, but NO utensils!!!!! Good luck to me! TTYL!

Molly = puppies!!!

Molly, my chocolate lab is going to have puppies! Her due date is July 15. I can't wait! If any of you peoples would like a big dog, I'll have some soon! They'll be so dang cute!!

OMGosh!!!

I really can't believe it! Next Monday I will be preforming in Shakespeare for my school!!! I have been working so hard, I have had practice everyday this week! Tomorrow I have an all day rehearsal so I get to miss school basically! I even have practice on Saturday!!!

Sorry, I have been writing so much about Shakespeare, let's see...School is out in about 2 weeks, i'm all finished with "bore" testing. My teacher told us our scores and I did pretty good. Today we emptied our desks and handed in our books. I really don't know what we are going to do the days after Shakespeare. We don't even have math anymore!! All we do is art, practice for graduation, Math Science Olympiad, and we have a field trip coming up soon which should be really fun. Other than that we just talk, read, and go outside! I love my life!!(But some warmer weather would make me even happier!)

Make Up Your Mind!!!

I'm not sure about the rest of you, but what is up with this weather?? I don't think Mother Nature can make up her mind! It goes from warm and sunny to cold and snowy!!! Really?? I wish it would actually feel like spring here!

I can't wait for summer!! I have less than one month of actual school days, then i'm free! Core testing is starting soon, and I'm not looking forward to it! We are always reviewing and it is so boring. My class calls core testing "bore" testing. The name suits it perfectly. I'll be happy when school is over, but I sure will miss my teacher. I'll be leaving elementary school after a long 8 years. Whew!
